My wife and I stayed at Dan River Campground just recently when they opened for the spring/summer. At check-in, we were provided with a map of the campground and campground policies. The policies were very thorough, however not unreasonable. I would imagine the policies are there to ensure the campground can be enjoyed by everyone.
The new owners are very nice. Nothing like the old owner. The campground is well maintained and the natural beauty is amazing. Bathrooms were clean with washers & dryers in each men’s and women’s side. Very convenient to do a quick load of wash.
We will definitely be back.
