Inland Harbor RV Park is a small campground located directly off I-95, exit 49, in Darien, Georgia. If you’re visiting coastal Georgia, or in need of easy on-off overnight stopover, this campground fits the bill.
The park offers 40 pull-through sites and 10 pull-in back-out sites. All sites are full hookups, including electricity (20, 30 and 50 amp), water, sewer and cable TV. Each site also has a picnic table. Amenities include restrooms, a bathhouse and a laundry, a picnic pavilion for large groups. They also have free wi-fi throughout the campground.
The facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful and the manager lives onsite. We paid $27 a night, which I feel is very reasonable. Road noise is noticeable, being this close to the Interstate, but not that bad.
There are a few restaurants within walking distance (Waffle House, McDonald’s and Dairy Queen). There’s also a large outlet mall and more restaurants about a 1/2 mile away on the other side of I-95.
In my opinion, the new managers are very rude and making rules as time goes, and they are not same for all people. Very good RV Park if you stay inside camper. Have a good time and think if you want stay in this place.
Mr. Rinehart had a bad experience because he parked his car on the grass and damaged the cable system. He was asked to submit his insurance card for possible damage compensation. He was very rude and threatened to sue the campground if we tried to submit an insurance claim. He was also throwing around that he was a retired Sargent, which has nothing to do with him damaging private property. The damage was repaired at no cost to him or his insurance.
The current manager, Mr. John is leaving. He has always made us feel welcome. We have stayed he 4 times. This is the first time dealing with the assistant manager and his wife who were very rude. We will not be back.
This is a great rv campground. They have easy in and out pull throughs and clean facilities. Paul, the manager is very helpful especially in recommending good places to eat.
