The Enota Mountain Retreat is highly recommended if you want a quiet atmosphere surrounded by National Forest.
It is nestled between mountains with numerous streams and waterfalls running right through the campground. There are cabins, RV sites (full hookups) and tent sites. There is a playground, fishing pond and an organic farm where fresh vegetables in season are available for purchase plus numerous farm animals for children to visit. Some meals are available on weekends.
The Lodge has a small store and native American jewelry and crafts for sale. This is a very conservation oriented park with a friendly and helpful staff. Numerous attractions are close by including Brasstown Bald Mountain (highest peak in Georgia), Georgia Mountain Fair, Alpine Helen and numerous natural scenic areas and hiking trails.
