The Great Outdoors is truly a five star resort! The property is huge, with everything you can imagine located on-site. This is not a membership RV park like other Florida RV resorts. Lifestyle choices here range from RV sites to custom-built homes designed with RV-ports attached. You can stay at the resort for a night, a week, a month… or forever.
The park has gated security. There are wide paved streets and paved sites with full hook-ups. The sites are large, well maintained and landscaped. Amenities include an on-site RV repair facility, two restaurants, two pools, a bank, a golf courses, and more. The staff was wonderful and made you feel very welcome.
While the park is close to I-95, it’s far enough away not to hear traffic. It’s located on an absolutely huge tract of land with undeveloped area all around. Cape Canaveral is nearby and you can actually watch the space shuttle launch right from your campsite.
The Great Outdoors limits rigs to self-contained, 18′ or longer RVs (no truck campers, popups, or tents).
RVers really need to experience this RV Resort. It’s not for everyone, but if you like to feel like a king, this is quite a kingdom!
