Brushy Lake Park is a really neat campground. It’s a great place for fishing, boating etc.
The campground staff is friendly and helpful. The park is small, with one boat ramp. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained but dated. Swimming is allowed but they do not have a gravel beach.
Brushy Lake Park is off the beaten path but well worth the drive. There are no stores nearby so get what you need before you turn off the highway. No alcohol is allowed at this campground.
