Route 66 RV Park is a small campground right off I-40 (exit 187). It’s Prevost heaven!
We did not have to rent two sites nor unhook. There are no bathrooms but they have great wifi. This is a simple park, with gravel roads and sites but a lot of room. They fill up quick.
There is a Walmart, Sonic, Dominoe’s Pizza, and a Denny’s right around the corner. There’s also a Phillips 66 that fills propane.
Just pull in and rest. No hassles.
Nice small country park with great people. All the neighbors are so polite. Very nice bathrooms and laundry now. If you looking for a lodge or a club house then keep going. if you looking for easy in and out and a nice place to sleep then come on in. We extended our stay just to relax. What an RV park should be. Plenty of room. Could use more gravel when it rains but you will not get stuck. over 100 foot sites in the middle.
Really great people. Even repaired out bus on Memorial Day. Everyone else closed. The girls Robin and Nicollette are a hoot. East Texas funny. Double wifi system that will play movies. Both of them. We are 45 ft with trailer and had zero issues even had space at both ends of our site. Small park need bathrooms understand in the works. many great places very close to eat including a new Denny’s at a 24/7 Walmart. Will be out normal stop each time through. Thank you all for being so nice even though a simple little park. The big parks could learn customer service from these people.
Close to 40. Big pull thru. Quiet clean small but nice.
