Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch has large, wide sites with nice views of the lake and mountains.
The restrooms and showers are well maintained and clean. There is a nice indoor family pool as well as an outdoor adult pool area. There are nice amenities at this resort. It’s directly across Highway 50 from Blue Mesa Reservoir, Colorado’s largest body of water… a 26 mile long lake with 96 miles of shoreline. Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch has two marinas, great fishing, boating and water sports.
Blue Mesa Reservoir is part of the Curecanti National Recreation Area which features two additional reservoirs, and is located on the edge of the Black Canyon National Park. Gunnison Country offers outstanding scenery along its backcountry roads, and has some of the best places to go four-wheeling and jeeping.
We camped here for two weeks. I would recommend this park and will stay here again.
This a wonderful campground for the entire family ! Sparkling adult and kid pools. The bathrooms are very clean and well taken care of. Mini golf and shuffle board are super fun! This park is super quiet and very peaceful with wonderful sites!
I believe it is important to know that this is a membership campground. I’m not sure if anyone just driving in would be able to stay there without a membership.
