Anaheim Resort RV Park – Anaheim, CA

Anaheim Resort is a nice, family-owned RV park, that appears to have been recently upgraded and improved. The campground is located just off I-5 in Anaheim, close to many attractions including the Disneyland Resort.

Amenities here include a heated pool, hot water spa, and showers and restrooms in three locations around the campground. The facilities are clean and well maintained.

The full-hookup sites (including cable TV) can easily handle even the biggest RVs. Their rates are affordable compared to others in the area and pets are welcomed.

We stayed at Anaheim Resort this past August with our 38′ Class A. It was a great home base for us as we explored the area. I would recommend it.

Sweetwater Events Complex – Rock Springs, WY

The Sweetwater Events Complex has a great campground for a trip along I-80.

The staff were friendly and the restrooms and showers were clean. The space was large enough for our motorhome.

The grounds are lovely, just wish there were more trees near the campground.

We had an awesome time with family and friends this past summer at Wildwedge RV Park. Went several weekends even.

The short golf course was in amazing condition and the mini golf was loads of fun. The RV park had large shady sites and the bathrooms were the best I’ve ever seen at an RV Park.

My inlaws rented the suite above the lodge and it was soooo nice for them.

Rockaway Beach RV Park – Rockaway Beach, OR

The Rockaway Beach website only has one pic of the actual campground. The rest of the photos are of the town.

This is the most depressing campground I’ve been in my life. Paying $35 per night for electric/wifi/water but this is not an rv park… no fellow campers having tailgate parties and enjoying themselves. It feels like home of the destitute. I was met by a manager wearing her pjs in late afternoon.

Bathroom garbage not changed, no paper in other stall since arrival, no soap except watered down half inch at bottom of pump bottle since arrival and really, couldn’t spring for new shower liner this season? Looks like it was put away wet last fall, molded and just rehung! The bathroom isn’t overly dirty but not great… new flooring. The laundry has seen better days but two washers and two dryers. Could be cleaner. Trash around most units that appear to be lifers.

On the plus side, It is only blocks to the ocean.

Balloon View RV Park – Albuquerque, NM

Most sites at Balloon View RV park are level and clean.

The campground is quiet, but the amenities listed on the brochure aren’t up to par. The pool was dirty and after swimming in the pool for over a week I had to seek medical attention for an infection in my eye.

Also, the Internet is awful. Internet isn’t password protected so anyone can drive and park on the side of the road to use it which slows the parks usage. It’s frustrating so purchase your own dish and internet plan.

1000 Islands Campground – Clayton, NY

1000 Islands Campground is a very nicely maintained park managed by friendly, helpful people.

Most campsites have up to a 50 amp service. They also have tent sites, log cabin rentals, and “Glamping Tent” rentals. All sites have a fire ring and a picnic table.

It can become rather crowded, but is handy to the 1000 Island area for sightseeing.

We have stayed here twice and would do so again.

River Rim RV Park – Terrebonne, OR

River Rim RV Park has about 27 sites. Their rates were excellent, just $26.75 per night and all hook ups.

The campsites and roads are gravel with concrete pads and picnic tables at the sites. They have very clean bathrooms and showers (one shower stall per bathroom).

It’s a very quiet RV park located about 8 miles off US 97 and north of Redmond, Oregon. Friendly owners are on site. There are seasonal RV’ers that I met who come and stay 3-4 months from hot places like Arizona. The owner said they do offer a monthly rate.

River Rim is a clean RV park and I would return if ever the area.

We had a horrible experience here!

Since ownership changed hands in March 2015, the campground has suffered. Trash everywhere, bathrooms unclean, showers full of mold and mildew, sites small and very close together, trash and algae floating in pool.

In my opinion, the new owners are extremely rude to guests… including enforcing unposted rules (eg. smoking is not posted as being prohibited in pool area). After 10+ years of consecutive visits to this campground, I will never again return. I will discontinue recommending this place and will go out of my way to share my horrid experience with the new owners and the current conditions with others.

Tremont Outdoor Resort – Townsend, TN

For years we have always enjoyed this RV park. However, our July 2015 visit was horrible.

The Check-In person that wears the phone head-set 24/7 is very rude to us. We reserved a specific site a year in advance. We got there and someone was in the space. We were told this was not monitored and they didn’t know someone was in it. It took full day for park to get person to move. No apology or refund of any kind.

The pool was closed for 2 days. They told us “vandalism”. This was not true as per their maintenance person. Our breakers blew several times a day. Rather than changing out a weak breaker, we had to call them each time to come turn it back on.

The grounds had not been kept up. They were muddy and dirty. The pavilion at it park of the site was filthy.

I can now see why the park was not full at all. If you stay here…good luck!

Leisure Time RV Park – Auburn, AL

Leisure Time RV Park is a fairly new campground with drive thru spots and great facilities.

The staff is friendly and helpful. It could use some shade, but the trees are growing.

A really nice place to stay.
