West Gate is a cute little RV Park in Poolville Texas.
The new owner has begun improvements… the entryway is now paved, and roads through the park were recently re-done (nice chip seal) and the office/clubhouse looks new and nice.
We stayed here for only 2 nights on our way through the area, but the park and the people were all very nice… we would definitely come back.
We had a great time at Endless Summer RV Park meeting wonderful people!
They have lots of activities and the campground is close to many fun things to do. We rode our bikes to the beach and took a drive to see the alligators.
We couldn’t have asked for a nicer time!
Salem Farms is a great campground!
There are lots of things to do for all ages! I felt very safe with my two younger boys.
Salem Farms Campground is located on 157 acres in rural Salem, New London County, Connecticut. A family owned and operated campground since 1980.
Each site is approximately 40 x 50 ft., and a minimum of approximately 2000sq ft. Each site contains: 30 or 50 amp electrical hookup, water hookup, gray water receptacle for sink and shower, picnic table and fire ring. Each site comes with free Wi-Fi and cable TV. Some sites are shady, some are open and grassy.
Feather River RV and Mobile Home Park is a beautiful campground in a quiet setting.
There are lots of trees, my friends and I LOVE the heated pool. There are plenty of outdoor activities, and the owners are really nice. The bathrooms were clean!
My dog loved it here!
We had a wonderful time at this top 10 rated park. Moon River RV Resort is a small, quiet and friendly campground that is centrally located for all our needs.
They have a relaxed atmosphere with large sites, well maintained and extremely clean park-restrooms and the facilities are spotless. The staff was always helpful and attentive. There is good TV (29 clear channels), cell and wi-fi (free) reception, or you can get your own internet with local provider.
We are an active couple that likes to golf and we especially enjoyed the planned hikes and “exercise” walks to the river! Easy access in and out with our Razor. There is plenty of open space for our dogs to enjoy.
We highly recommend Moon River RV Resort and will be back.
My wife and I decided to try winter camping at Roamers Retreat Campground in Kinzers Pennsylvania. They set us up on a nice lot with a porch and and fire ring. The short term lots are long for big RV’s and a car.
The owner gave us a lot of info and suggestions on winter camping. The lot was easy to get into and the view is great. There are stores and restaurants a mile down the road. The laundromat is clean and well kept along with the with wifi and books to read out on the bench table or inside. Our grandson likes the big pirate ship and swings then the camp fire and smores bought from the campground store.
We like it here!
Pinewood Lodge is the perfect family campground. We stayed on a spacious electric and water site, surrounded by huge pine trees.
They offer swimming, boating,and great planned activites for the kids! We were there for Western weekend, which included craft classes and pony rides! They have wi-fi, lake swimming and boating, horseshoes, a rec hall and game room, freshwater fishing, planned activities, boat rentals and a p.layground
The restrooms, as well as the grounds are the cleanest we’ve seen anywhere. Rates are reasonable… we paid $41 for a premium site ( 50 Amp Electric, Water, Sewer and Cable TV) We can’t wait to go back!
We always stay at Emma Wood State Beach Campground during our Senior Sprints, Dwarf Cars, Hobby Stocks, Focus Midgets, Sport Compacts, and Mod Lites fall racing excursion to Ventura Raceway, over at Ventura County Fairgrounds, California.
It’s so peaceful and quiet at Emma Wood Campground, after a long day at our VRA races. There is always good folks there too. See the Pacific Ocean’s old WWII artillery ruins (bath), and relax at The Denkes Fire Pit at night. Come have a cold one with the boys!

We usually stay at Big Bend of the Colorado River (in Nevada) during our IMCA Mods, Super Stock, Mini Sport Car, Street Stocks, Mini Stock, and Arizona Dwarf Cars fall racing excursion to Mojave Valley Raceway, over there in Arizona’s Mojave Valley.
However, Pappy fell ill, so to Spirit Mountain RV Park we went, 3.4 miles from MVR races. It is very clean. And good people. Spirit Mountain Casino had just reopened, and Spirit Mountain was open too. “All life began on Spirit Mountain,” Pappy said. I agreed.
We always stay at The Parkway RV Resort and Campground during our Mini Stock, Mini Truck, Mini Mods, Hobby Stock, Wingless Sprints, Demo Derby, and Street Stock fall racing excursion to Sacramento Valley Speedway, over there in Orland, California.
It’s so peaceful and quiet at The Parkway Campground, after a long day at our SVS races. There are always friendly and pleasant folks there too. Be sure to relax at their nice swimming pool, and around The Parkway Fire Pit at night. Have a cold one with the boys!
