Sea Perch RV Resort – Yachats, OR

Where do I begin? I had the misfortune of choosing Sea Perch RV Resort to stay in during my vacation. I spent 80.00 per night so I could listen to the camp host in spot number 27 run his loud, obnoxious table saw all day long cutting rocks to sell in his online business.

This particular person is a non working camp host that the managers allow to stay there for free while he runs a stand that he’s set up IN HIS SITE so people can shop his jewelry. I’ve never seen anything so tacky in an “upscale” resort. Not only does he use this Resort to run his business, I’ve seen him smoking his e-cigarettes in the clubhouse, which is CLEARLY marked No Smoking, including vaping. The entire room will stink for hours after he leaves. The rules state that there is no smoking in the clubhouse, period, but the managers allow only him to bend the rules.

Furthermore his dog is never restrained. They allow it to stroll throughout the park with the leash dragging behind it. On more than one occasion I had to ask him to please restrain his dog. When I voiced my concerns to the management, I was told they’d take care of it, but they never did.

Another thing I witnessed was this same man performed a break job in his site, which is also outlined in the rules as a huge no no. Not only did he perform a break job, I saw him spill break fluid in the site.

They keep their site a filthy mess. I was told I had to remove my windsock from my side mirror because they don’t allow ornaments. Apparently this isn’t true of every one.

In my opinion, the managers are downright rude and their kids are loud and obnoxious. As I was checking in their kids were running in and out of the lobby, slamming doors, yelling and one of them wouldn’t stop banging on a ukulele. I stood in the lobby for 10 minutes listening to the chaos coming from the managers apartment. The managers keep their area a total mess. I saw toys and broken lawn equipment scattered around.

I took pictures of everything. Including the tacky jewelry stand that’s set up. I’m assuming the owner(s) will be very interested in seeing how the camp host uses the resort to run his own business, and that he lives there completely free. I will be forwarding my concerns to them. Avoid this place, it’s run very very poorly.

Lake Hartwell Camping and Cabins is a wonderful campground. Wonderful facilities, wonderful staff.

We have been camping here for many years now and this place gets better and better. We always have great fun on the lake. The people are very friendly here and many come here year after year so we now know many friendly faces. The Wi-Fi this year seems better than ever, I think they must have upgraded. The pool is great, we can’t wait for it to open up for the summer.

We will visit many times again this year at this wonderful fun place to spend time with my girls. Thanks for all you do for us Lake Hartwell Camping and Cabins.

This is our favorite all time camping spot.

Crossroads RV Park has become our home away from home. The management/ownership has worked endlessly and efficiently to bring in positive changes resulting in only positive feedback from the residents.

Improvements include a new larger clubroom with pool table, a large screen tv and of course a wonderful get together spot. We enjoyed meeting new residents and of course spending time with the many friends we’ve made through the years. The staff willingly gave their all to coordinate events that were thoroughly enjoyed.

Lighting, roads and landscaping were improved to give everyone a great off the beaten track spot where quading, golfing and shopping are all easily accessible.

Want a quiet, friendly getaway… join us at Crossroads R.V.

East View RV Ranch – Georgetown, TX

I found a great RV park and resort to stay at! East View RV Ranch offers clean, quiet and secure country living in the Austin area of Central Texas.

The sites here are level and well maintained. They have very nice granite roads. There is strong, fast and secure wifi throughout park. Resort amenities I enjoyed included a big screen TV, exercise equipment, laundromat, kitchen and clean bathroom with shower.

This place is obviously designed for the Rv’er in mind as it’s both big rig and pet friendly. The location is convenient to anything I needed.

I really like this place as my home base. Would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the heart of Texas!

I really enjoyed Elk Creek RV park. It’s a little older but it’s maintained well.

The girls in the office were super nice. They gave me coupons to a local restaurant and made sure we knew where to go in case of bad weather. I really like their club house and the fact that there was a 24 store right near by.

The price is really good and we got a discount for AAA and military. My site was easy to find. The shower had good water pressure.

We plan to stay here every time we’re on this trip route.

Cypress Bayou Casino RV Park – Charenton, LA

Cypress Bayou Casino RV Park was a great stop for a few days.

They have good full hook-ups, although there are no bath or showers… which is ok. There is a casino shuttle service for several restaurants too.

Super friendly people here and in the area. Most are home grown. The Steak house was excellent as was the Yellow Basket nearby.

This is a nice area to explore before a stop in New Orleans.

Halesford Harbour RV Park – Moneta, VA

Halesford Harbour is pretty cool. My husband and I took a little trip to Smith Mountain Lake to check this place out.

We found the motel to be clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant has a really nice Jambalaya and Mahi-Mahi. I think its probably one of the best on the lake. The RV park was not completed yet but I believe they are taking reservations for the June opening. It’s really nice and there is lots of space for the kids to run around, go fishing, and boating.

I think it is the best Smith Mountain Lake RV park but that is just my opinion. If you love Smith Mountain Lake and the surrounding areas you will love Halesford Harbour.

Yogi’s Jellystone Park in Emporia is a great campground!

They have nice clean bathrooms and showers and the nicest folks you will find anywhere. They were very accommodating and helpful when we ran into some mechanical issues with our new coach. They are right off I-95 making it an easy on easy off stop over.

I look forward to going back to spend more time at this great park!

Elite Resorts at Crystal River – Crystal River, FL

This RV Park was great. The lots at at this campground were very large and the park was well maintained. Elite Resorts is located close to Crystal River Florida in Citrus County – which has a lot of fun family activities. My kids loved swimming with manatees and the towns in the area are very cute.

The park has all the amenities you need plus more – a great pool (screened in!), a new lodge, ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, and everything else you can imagine. The park is very natural and pretty – full of trees and shade.

This was a great family vacation and we are all looking forward to returning next year.

Whispering Oaks Campground – Baldwin, MI

Campground and RV Park Reviews | RVBuddy

Last summer we just happened to drive by Whispering Oaks Campground and decided to stay. The campground is smaller but very well kept and clean.

The interior roads are nice gravel. The property has lots of flowers all over and the grass is kept nice and clean. They have a store, laundry, playground area etc. (they don’t have a pool) and it was all very well maintained. But the biggest surprise were the restrooms… they were super clean! Really, and all the time, we stayed for a week and everyday they were cleaned and nice.

The campsites are good sized and level and have water and electric. The nearby town of Baldwin doesn’t have much to do but there is great fishing in the area. The campground staff was friendly and helpful. Hope this helps.. www.michigancampground.com
