The staff is friendly and helpful at the Travel Camp. Our check in was quick and easy.
The campground has clean bathrooms, showers and laundry. They also have a nice store. The camp sites are easy access. It’s a high desert landscape, with warm days and cool nights. The rates here are reasonable too. This is really a nice park!
Their campstore is stocked with food, fishing tackle, RV accessories, beer, ice and other essentials.
Conveniently located nearby is access to fly fishing on the Green River, and Blue Ribbon Trout Stream that is within a mere 5-minute walking distance. A short drive from the campground is the Wild Horse Loop and the majestic Flaming Gorge Lake. There are picturesque views of the Palisades. The City of Green River is rich in the history of the Union Pacific Railroad, the Lewis and Clark Expedition, and the Powell Expeditions that started here and continued on to the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon.
We stayed here in truck and trailer.
