Tree Farm is a small campground located just east of Springfield, in the southeastern portion of Vermont. The property is located in mostly mature white pine forest. The interior roads are gravel throughout the campground and the sites are quite large. The majority of sites are full-hookup and the price is reasonable ($26 a night). The facilities are rather old, but adequately maintained. They do have several pull-thru sites but navigating a larger class A through the campground may be a little challenging.
Tree Farm has a few basic amenities, but not much. No pool, no campstore and only a small playground. There appeared to be lot’s of seasonal sites too. Nothing against seasonal campers… we’ve made some great friends along the way, but sometimes you just want to feel like you’re on vacation, not living in a trailer park.
Summer is a great time to explore the back roads of Vermont and this part of the state is no exception. While Tree Farm is a bit out of date, it’s clean and quiet and good base to explore the area.
We’ve made updates since 2008, some include wifi, general store, tiny house parking and weekend activities. Future plans, dog park/run, tiny additions to playground and disk golf.
