White Oak is a great campground located about 4 miles south of Strasburg, Pennsylvania and in the heart of Lancaster and Amish Farms.
They have an immaculate bathhouse. The staff is very friendly. They have great prices even though there is NO pool or cable tv. There are some 50 channels available with an over-the-air antenna. The sites are level and mostly back ins. They have a recreation hall for large groups. There are many shaded sites throughout the park. All sites have a fire ring and picnic table.
We were here in July 2017 and enjoyed our stay.
We just returned home from our first trip to White Oaks Campground. We are seasoned campers and have been across the USA, and we found this campground to be one of our favorities. It is very clean and quiet. The staff is very nice and helpful. If you are looking for a nice quiet relaxing place to stay this is it. The sites are mostly wooded and level, and all have a fire ring and picnic table. It is only 4 miles to historic Strasburg Railroad and close to Bird in Hand, lots to do close to the campground.
