We’ve camped at Lake George RV Park many times over the past 20 years and have a great time every time we visit. This is a true RV Destination Resort and with 400 full hook-up sites on 120 acres, it’s big! With tons of amenities, you’ll really never have to leave for something to do. The park is located on NY Route 149 just a few miles south of Lake George.
When you first enter the park you’ll notice plenty of room to park your rig while you check in. Most interior roads are paved and in good condition. While a few sites are paved, the vast majority are gravel. There are 350 sites with full hook-ups (30/50 amps). There are both wooded and open sites available.
Amenities include 4 playgrounds, 7 tennis courts, indoor and heated outdoor pools, 2 movie theaters, 2 video arcades, 10 pool tables, paved bicycle trails, a stocked fishing pond, paddle boats and in season entertainment. If your kids say “there’s nothing to do”, then you’ve got problems.
If you like peace and quiet, this park may not be for you. Summertime brings tons of kids and lot’s of activity. There are less active sections of the park that will give you some solice but on the whole, big parks with lots of perks mean lots of activity. On the other hand, Lake George RV Park is the perfect campground for families with kids looking for amenities to keep everyone occupied.
