Hickories Park is run by the Village of Owego, New York. The campground has full hookup, first come sites for anything from motor-homes to tents.
It cost us $25 a night for our travel trailer. The sites are gravel and very level. The roads are paved. It has a large fenced in dog park. The village of Owego is a small, charming town, with a great downtown made for walking. There are shops, restaurants, and gas stations. A laundromat is close by.
The park is on the Susquehanna river. It has easy access from the Southern Tier Expressway. When you come off the expressway and across the bridge, your GPS might tell you to turn right. Don’t do it. The park is to the right, but the road to it goes under the bridge. Turn left, and at the light turn left again towards the McDonald’s.
We have family in the area, and stay there every time we visit.
