I wouldn’t call this a “resort”. It’s an older campground with narrow dirt roads and small campsites. The sites for smaller campers and pop-ups were very tiny. We weren’t able to have a fire because the site was so small and close to our neighbors. Also, the campsite we stayed in was across from the cabins and you had to walk through a swampy area to get there. Most of this part of the campground seemed wet and buggy.
The employees (mostly teenagers) here were also very rude and needed training in customer service skills. I felt like they were doing us a favor whenever we asked a question or purchased something. It should be the other way around. This campground also charges you for everything possible. It seems like everything is an additional fee.
Overall I wasn’t very impressed with Cold Springs “Resort”. I will not return and I will let my friends know about my experiences here. I camped here in August 2011.
