Scenic Hills is a nice RV park with large, level open gravel sites on a grassy hilltop. It was easy for us to get around, even with our larger rig.
The campground is clean and well maintained but does not have shower/restroom facilities. Each site has a fire ring (free firewood!) and a picnic table. Sites are full hookups and some are pull thrus. The campground now also has wi-fi although I’m not sure if it’s free.
The park is located in an Amish community, and you will find the employees extremely friendly and accommodating. It’s very peaceful and quiet here at night. There are limited activities here if you have kids, and they do not have a play ground.
Scenic Hills is a nice place to stay if you just want some peace and quiet for a few days. We have stayed in here every year since they opened, about fifteen years ago.
We stay at this campground last Friday and Saturday and wanted to stay another nite so talked to Sam. We asked about our GOOD SAM discount and he said, and I quote “Pay up or get out” so we got out to never to return.
Richard and Betty Baumgardner have been staying at this RV haven for years and find that Sam And Mary to be great hosts and their staff are friendly and try to be of help if any questions. The park is located in the center of just about anything you would want to visit within a few miles of driving and dining at the great restaurants for good home cooking. We highly recommend this campground for a good stay. Happy Camping everyone.
