This is a nice RV park right on Puget Sound with its own private beach. Some sites are about 10 foot from the water, others are set back in the woods nestled in the trees. Beach front sites are pull-thru, most of the forest sites are back-in.
The beach is a “food” beach as both oysters and clams are harvested there, so dogs are not allowed and playing on the beach is discouraged. If your interested in either clamming or oysters, call the parks for dates and time.
The little store in the office and a restaurant across the street are both handy. The Tides Restaurant is very popular and it’s because the food is great, sevice good but slow when full and price is right.
Park is located about 2 miles north of Hoodsport, just about the time you are sure I lied to you, you’ll see it on the east side of the road. Office on the west side of highway.
Yes I’ve seen and heard that in a travel forum. I’ve seen the park there in the picture and it is beautiful. Wide park and popular resto known for their food beaches.
