This is a very friendly campground! We stayed here for a week and had a wonderful experience.
The campground is family owned and operated. The owners were accommodating and made us feel very comfortable. They have RV sites with full hookups including pull-thrus for big rigs. They also have tent sites and cabins. Pets are welcome but they must be on a leash and cleaned up after! The bathrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. There are also laundry facilities and a small store where you’ll find ice, live bait, sodas and snacks. Wireless internet is also available for campers.
The campground is extremely affordable. We would definitely recommend Kamper’s Lodge to anyone passing thru Wilson, NC.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend camping at Kampers Lodge. There are nice grassy areas around the campsites, we had a shelter and concrete slab right out our front door, and the bathrooms were spotless. The kids enjoyed feeding and petting the donkeys and playing putt putt. The pool was clean and inviting. The owners are working on several upgrades and we look forward to returning.
