I have mixed emotions on this place. As their website says… it is an urban experience but with a great location for New York City.
There is a total of about 50 sites, all angled back-ins. The sites are long but narrow on all gravel. There is no grass or trees here. The Park has a large clean bath house. There are no sewer hookups and no cable TV. You can only get 4 spanish antenna channels unless you have a little digital tv converter box. There is an on site sports type bar with bar food which was very good. The water ferry takes you over to Wall Street where you can get other transportation to the rest of Manhatten.
We were here July 3-4-5 and the place was full. We had 95 degree weather which caused some electrical overloads on the main panel. The park also has a dump station. The staff was friendly and there is security 24 hours, a mall, the waterfront area, and other stores are within 2 miles.
