We were planning our trip to Yosemite National Park and a lot of people suggested that we book our stay at the Ahwahnee. But for a family of 8, it was a tad overpriced and we decided to opt for the cheaper Yosemite Pines Resort. The call was made and we booked the luxury cabin. It being off season, we got the cottage for $259 which is amazing considering that you are living in a full size cottage that can house 8 people.
We were greeted by the bellman who was very courteous and accompanied us to our cabin. The cabin was picturesquely located. It had a rustic feel to it which was complimented by the right furniture. The beds were heavenly with clean linen and the kitchen is as good as your own.
Yosemite is an hour’s drive away but the drive is well worth the wait. Stop and click some pictures. We went for hiking trips and kids loved the mountain biking trails. The ambiance was amazing. We could feel the Yosemite air while we enjoyed our barbecues in the evening.
Did I forget to mention the petting farm? If you are pet lover, then you gotta visit this place. The alpacas are so gentle and beautiful.
If you are looking for a pleasant stay for a cheap price, then this is a great choice. I would certainly recommend it to my friends and relatives.
I love researching great places to stay with my family, and we especially love vacationing at the national parks as we are nature people. Finding a place to accommodate me and my husband and 3 kids can be quite a challenge. That’s why I totally recommend Yosemite Pines because it has a wide range of accommodations for all family types and budgets! For our week long vacation, we rented a luxury cabin. After a really long drive with the kids (we live in Seattle), we were so happy when we arrived at the cabin and were greeted with super nice digs! The cabin had a bedroom with a queen bed, living room, a big bathroom, a loft room with 3 beds, enough for the kids to have their own beds! Since we were staying a whole week, the full kitchen was awesome and we made many meals and saved a bunch of money that way. The kids just fell in love with the petting zoo, playground, pool, and the nature of the area. Everything was really safe so I felt pretty comfortable letting the kids go around the resort (not by themselves of course!). I liked the laundry facilities so we can do our laundry while we were there and the hiking trails were pretty great too. The location was fabulous to reach Yosemite National Park where we checked out for 3-4 days. I definitely recommend this place!
We were glad to find Yosemite Pines resort after our long trip driving from LA. It costs too much for a hotel around the park (and they were all booked), so we were thankful to find Yosemite. The park is mostly for RVs but there are camping spots for tents, and they have cabins and yurts as well. Anytime you go to Yosemite Park its is crowded these days because it is so popular. We had fun and enjoyed the camp store, pool and petting farm for the kids. Would stay there again, the kids had a great time!
This is a great RV park. It is nestled in trees, far enough off the main road to be completely quiet and large enough to handle big rigs, 5th wheels, trailers and small camp trailers. The trails and alleys in the park are a little dusty especially when the rains are missing. It is about 50 miles from Yosemite Village which is way more crowded and worn out, clearly Yosemite Pines Rv resort is at least the better looking campground.
The RV sites are gravel and well leveled. Most of the sites have trees which is nice shady, but you have to be careful not to brush up against them as you pull in. A lot of things to do for kids. There is petting zoo, but also a clean and nice outdoor pool. Overall, a very good experience in a beautiful surrounding
