What a wonderful place! We stayed here while exploring the area and visiting Craters of the Moon National Monument this past fall.
The sites are all level, clean, gravel and very large, with nice big grassy areas between sites. RV sites had full hook-ups, picnic tables, charcoal grills, and good southern views (for satellite TV). They also have a separate tenting area with nice level grass and water.
All the facilities are well-maintained and clean. The bathrooms were immaculately clean (was my Mom just here?) and had totally private shower (free) rooms with a dressing area, seat, and hooks.
They also have a surprisingly substantial number of amenities for a relatively small campground… including a mini golf course, evening movies, on-site restaurant (with an amazing menu that includes smoked ribs, seafood, Italian and burgers… even craft beers)
Need anything? Just ask… the owners are really nice, very friendly folks who are a lot of fun. They even have a mechanic on-site to fix your RV.
We had a great stay… and will definitely be back to visit again!
What a wonderful place. Clean, professional, and best of all, just like family.
If you are ever within 200-300 miles of Arco, Idaho and looking for an RV camping space, make the drive to Mountain View RV Park. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with this park, then you should just stay home. We have been on the road 30 years and this is not our first rodeo and we are going back to Mountain View RV Park as soon as the opportunity arises.
What a pleasant surprise RV park. We are well into a lengthy RV trip making a big loop from and back to California. We planned our locations in advance and were only doing a brief 2 night stay in Arco to see Craters of the Moon. This gem of a RV park is a delight with nice wide spaces that are level and friendly with full hookups. The owners and staff are very friendly. Now for the big surprise… they have that rare Cafe on site, and although a very brief menu of choices… the food was delightful. They highlight the smoked “baby backs”, and they were amazing fall off the bone delicious, and nice large portions. Some of the best, better than mine at home. We strongly urge any travelers to overnight or longer and please spoil yourself at their tiny cafe.
