Pecan Park RV Resort is a beautiful campground. Well kept, clean, and will very large sites perfect for the big boys (40 feet plus) and with a full size tow.
ALL sites are concrete paved, pull through sites!
Each site comes with 20/30/50 AMP electric, water, city sewer, cable TV, and WiFi. Each site’s concrete slab measures 70’ long, 20’ wide
The customer service on site is great! It is a corporate owned park that has undergone major renovations and aesthetic updates since its purchase in 2016. You may make reservations for this park by calling the Resort directly, book online, or calling the national call center.
Very spacious bathhouse with large showers and tasteful decor. Very clean and conveniently located at the north end of the park, at the general amenity center near the swimming pool.
The laundry room is equipped with commercial grade washer and dryers. You will have to use your Debit Card or Credit Card to pay per wash or dry cycle with the swipe of your card at the machine itself. This is a huge plus when you don’t travel with large amounts of quarters and don’t want to deposit money onto a laundry card.
Swimming pool is open year round and is heated. Very clean and maintained by a licensed pool technician.
Clubhouse offers dining and entertainment space that can be rented by its guests (currently at no cost). It comes equipped with a full size kitchen and serving bar. There is also an outdoor, covered patio space with grills hat overlook the lake.
Fishing lake, fully stocked and no need for a fishing license!
Pet Friendly Park! Currently no breed restrictions and you may have up to two pets per site. There is a fully fenced dog park and you are welcomed to walk the park with your pets. Currently, the park does not charge extra for pets as guests.
The resort is perfectly located right off of Interstate 95 and is conveniently located near a Loves Truck & Travel Center for gas and any other conveniences you may need before hitting the road. The park is also located one exit away from an outdoor Town Center shopping district that has a number of restaurants and bars, clothing stores, a sporting goods store, Walmart, banks, hotels, hospital, and more. Even better there is also a Camping World and Dick Gore’s RV Sales stores within a 10 minute drive (only one and two exits away).
If you don’t have a desire to leave the park for shopping or entertainment, Jacksonville’s largest indoor/outdoor [Pecan Park] Flea & Farmers Market is right next door. You can access the flea market from within the RV Park with use of a pedestrian gate.
Rates are subject to change daily based upon availability and peak season. Peak season for this park is October 1 through April 1. At the time of this review (before peak season), rates start at $56 per night. Weekly and Monthly rates are available and offer cost savings. Various discount traveling programs are accepted.
Overall, I would have to say this is one of the best, if not THE BEST RV Park in Northeast Florida. The level of customer service and incomparable aesthetics and upkeep of the park and its facilities are considerable.
What is the old adage?… “You get what you pay for!”
If you prefer the more rustic, woodsy, or “boon-docking” appeal, this may not be your park of choice. This is truly a RV Resort making improvements regularly.
Pecan Park RV is great place for those needing a month or two when working in the Jacksonville area. PROS: Quiet neighbors, good security, clean showers and bathrooms. Short drive to shopping, and easy drive to Amelia Island beaches. Plus quick and inexpensive taxi ride to the Airport next door. CON: Close to I–95 so constant traffic noise, but it becomes white noise after the first day or so. Some airport jet traffic during the day, but few flights after 9pm.
