Ponderosa Campground – Cody, WY

Loading ...We were passing through the area one weekend and decided to try Ponderosa Campground as our overnight stay. They had upgrading some of their campsites and we got one with a concrete pad.
Ponderosa Campground is within walking distance (although it’s a bit of a hike) of Cody’s downtown area complete with museums, shops and restaurants.
About the park… The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. The restrooms and showers were clean and very well maintained. The only negatives… it was a bit crowded when we stayed and it tends to get a little dusty because of the gravel roads. If you’ve got a big rig, they have a section just for us… big pull-thru sites, 50 amp hookups and cable TV. They also have free wi-fi.
