Pine View Campground – Fort McCoy, WI

Loading ...Pine View is a nice campground with pretty good fishing early in the summer. The park has all the usual services and a sandy beach. The biggest problem is about 5 times a day they play bugles over a loud speaker system… this starts about 5:30 a.m. and the last one is at 10:30 or 11:00 p.m. Also there is a machine gun firing range near the camp grounds and that can be in use at any time. This is not the quietest campground around.

This is an awesome campground! They have great customer service! Pine View is a very clean campground. Lots of fun things to do like hiking, swimming, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, biking, shuffleboard, mini golf, paddle boating and activities on the weekends.

We spent a fantastic few days at PineView. The bugle calls were part of what we enjoyed. My husband is retired Army (served at McCoy also) and the memories for him were all good. I felt my patriotism swell whenever I heard the bugles.
