Tiki Tom’s RV Park – Tiki Island, TX
After staying in 99% marginal to poor RV parks with the exception of a big rig park in Newport, Oregon and Frontier Park at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, I was amazed at the quality of Tiki Tom’s.
The roads are paved, the sites are concrete, the grass is manicured and the bathrooms are squeeky clean! The washers and dryers are even free and all for $48 per night for the finest site, on the Gulf of Mexico! I know he has monthly rates but Bill, the manager slipped us into a long term site knowing that we might have to interrupt our stay. We were there a week but will surely return, soon. This a class act.
Bill and his wife, the managers know all about Tiki island and all the amenities offered in the greater Galveston area. Don’t miss this park when in the greater Houston area.

I have lived at Tiki Tom’s for 2 years. The park is a tight knit community with full-timers, weekenders, park hosts, managers, and staff. I have lived in several RV parks and visited many others. Tiki Tom’s is far above average, bordering on exceptional. The facilities are clean and well lighted. Two private bathrooms have large showers and are cleaned daily. I feel safe in the park and enjoy it’s proximity away from traffic, but close to shopping and restaurants. I’m saddened that I’m moving to a new park and can only hope for similar commitment to community, safety, and overall cleanliness. Happy camping at Tiki Tom’s!
