Benchmark RV Park was a jewel of a park, and big-rig friendly!

The campground is neat, clean, and well maintained with long wide level sites (75′ sites each with a 10′x40′ level concrete pad). The owner was very friendly and helpful. This is one of the nicest parks we had been to so far this year. They also have Wireless Internet, which is a must for fulltimers. More parks should be like this!

We are fulltime RVers and have visited many parks out there and this was one of the best parks we have stayed in. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed 5 wonderful nights at Logan Landing. My only complaint is that the sites were not very level but we were allowed to change sites.

The setting is beautiful. Logan Landing has its own private lake and some of the sites are on Logan Martin Lake. There is a clubhouse, a large swimming pool and a swimming beach. You are allowed to fish for free at the private lake. There is no swimming in the private lake.

The sites are shady and were more than large enough to accommodate our 39′ 5th wheel and dually truck. The site had a cement patio with a picnic table and a grill. The RV park was very clean as were the showers, restroom and laundry. The campground has a gated entry and the park is very peaceful. The staff is very friendly and helpful and accommodating.

We will definitely camp there again and look forward to it.

Monte Sano State Park is a very nice, peaceful campground located on top of a mountain overlooking the city of Huntsville.

The campground is gated and secure. Interior roads are paved and in good condition. The sites are level and a comfortable size. The campground has some great hiking and mountain biking trails. The park has a nice campstore with a good selection of groceries and camping supplies.

There is lots to see and do in and around the Huntsville area. We would definitely camp here again.

We stayed at Lookout Mountain/Chattanooga West KOA in Trenton, Georgia for one week in May and loved it. This is a very family oriented campground with pull through and back up sites. Most of the sites are in the shade.

The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help. We had a problem with our propane and the owner, Brian, spent a long time helping us until we found a tear in one of the hoses. Without Brian’s help, we would have had to take our rv into a service center and that would have ruined our trip.

This KOA is near the Chattanooga Aquarium (17 minutes), Lookout Mountain, and the Hang Gliding Center. We would highly recommend staying here.

There are several campgrounds available in the Chattanooga area, we chose this one because the Trailer Life Rating was high. We figured, if they were full we’d just work down the list until we found a place.

The Park brags about being close to the Interstate, but there are no highway noises. The nearby Race Track and Airport drown out all highway noises!

We stayed for several nights and learned a love for the place. It’s easy on/off the Interstate Highway and a great place to live while exploring Chattanooga. Roads and sites are packed gravel and all are very level. The Hook-ups are modern including cable and wi-fi. The pool, showers, store, and laundry are all nice. For small trailers and Poppers, I’d recommend the back-in sites for the shade and privacy. The Pull-Thru’s vary in size with lot’s of space for anything a human can drive.

The city is just beautiful. We rode the Incline Railway, Saw Ruby Falls, and the Civil War Memorials. The attraction we loved best was Rock City. It seems to be a Tourist Trap pile of crap, but it was amazing. Take the kids, make it a day. The Tennessee Aquarium is also nearby and quite a nice tour.

You must have Breakfast at least once at the Waffle House .2 miles from the Park. We felt like we were having breakfast with old friends and family. I’d avoid the Italian Restaraunt nearby…it’s cheap, but crappy.

If your coming to Chattanooga, make this place your home base. You won’t be sorry.

Noccalula Falls Park & Campground is owned and operated by the city of Gadsden and located about 5 miles from downtown. The property is one of the cleanest that we’ve ever stayed at.

Campsites a good size and are on level concrete pads. Some are full hook-ups with cable TV. All facilities are very clean and well maintained.

Noccalula Falls Park has a beautiful 90′ waterfall, botanical gardens, hiking trails, a sightseeing train, playground, and mini golf. There are plenty of walking trails throughout the park and plenty for the kids to do. The pool area is great, and there is well stocked campstore with a good selection of groceries and camping supplies.

Nice park. We recommend it!

River Country Campground was a very nice park with extremely friendly staff. The sites were gravel and level. The utilities were in good shape and well positioned on the site. There was standard cable TV with plenty of choices. There was plenty of grass between the sites and lots of shade. The sites were roomy and very easy to get in to. We had a pull-through site and had no problems positioning our 33? fifth wheel.The restrooms were 5 star clean, air conditioned, and very well appointed. The pool was very nice with the clearest blue water we saw on our entire 17 day vacation. It was open late during our stay in mid July.

We camped here in a fifth wheel and highly recommend this park.

Although this campground looks nice when entering, the management at this facility ruin the pleasure of staying in Chattanooga. The managers/owners do not show respect for their campers, when presented with any sort of a conflict, they do not show any interest in finding a resolution, but only put their own initiatives and desires above anything and everything else.

I observed the owner to be confronted by two other campers that had complaints, and were handled rudely and unjustly, with management ultimately walking off from the individuals, with no consideration of making them happy or content. This also happened with our group. Prices are high for the sites, outside wood is not allowed, and the camper must pay $5/small bag of wood if they want a campfire, outside visitors must pay $4 per vehicle PLUS $3 per person to enter if not camping, swimming pool is only open 10am to 4pm, and management is obsessed with controlling the entire environment of the campground, including the bathrooms. Truly ridiculous and we’ll never stay at this facility again.
