Elk City / Clinton KOA is a very nice place. It’s an established campground with mature trees, a pool, and a playground.
From the campground, it’s a short walk to Clinton Lake for sand bass and crappie fishing. You’re 11 miles from Foss Lake, also known for bass fishing. Lucky Star Casino and two great golf courses are within a 15-minute drive. Visit Stafford Air & Space Museum or Washita Battlefield National Historic Site, both within an hour’s drive. Have breakfast or dinner (in season) in the dining room or at your site.
The pool is open from Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.
Nice people. The campground is just off of I-40 between Clinton and Elk City.
