Loading ...Despite what an earlier poster said, we had no such problems at Mt Rushmore/Hill City KOA. This is a huge park about 5 miles from the monument with some 500 various type sites. It’s a very busy place so rsvp is a must in the summer. Most sites are full hookup but not all. They have a big camp store, snack bar, restaurant, horseback rides and pool. Definitely signup for the evening shuttle to the monument ($3.00). The ceremony is breathtaking. The campground is located on Route 244 between Hill City and the monument.
