It is quiet with a lot of natural trees and shrubs around. The beach is nice as it is at the end of a longer beach. At times there is only 2 or 3 other people for a long stretch. Indeed there is a lot to do close by. Great sea food in Charleston. Their little store has some essentials and DVD rentals. In our opinion, the best place in the Coos Bay area.
