Oceanside RV Park – Charleston, OR
The grounds here at Oceanside RV Park have been well taken care of with lots of flowers. The camp sites here are grassy with a picnic table and fire pit. There is a small beach area down a trail from the sites.
There are no activities here and you pay for the showers though they are quite large and lots of warm water and pressure. The laundry room consists of one very old washer and dryer. The staff is nice but don’t expect them to pick up the phone and you may have to call several times as they aren’t good about returning phone calls.
There is lots to do in the area. We were here in a 5th wheel in August, 2009.

This is one of our favorite RV parks on the Southern Oregon coast. It is quiet with a lot of natural trees and shrubs around. The beach is nice as it is at the end of a longer beach. At times there is only 2 or 3 other people for a long stretch. Indeed there is a lot to do close by. Great sea food in Charleston. Their little store has some essentials and DVD rentals. In our opinion, the best place in the Coos Bay area.
