Columbia River RV Park – Portland, OR
Columbia River RV Park is located on 13th Avenue in Portland, Oregon. Use this campground ONLY for an overnight stay. They claim to have wireless, but the wireless is with some no name company, and you have to set up an account. I was there in July 2005 and it was $4.95 for one night. There were weekly and monthly rates, too for the wireless. There is also a modem hookup in the exercise room. The one good thing about this park is the office is open until 9:00 at night. The property is not close to anything, like a decent grocery store. Again, use this only for an overnight. Rates were decent, but nothing special here.

I suppose if you want a park where you can walk to stuff you\’re out of luck, but what Columbia River RV is close to is the Columbia River. A beautiful spot with paved bike paths, marines and several restaurants. It\’s also just two miles from Jantzen Beach (Target, Safeway, lots of other stores) and closer to downtown Portland (via car or MAX) than any area park. The Wi-Fi does still cost but there are now two antennas.
