Tall Pines Campground - Bainbridge, NYMy husband, myself, my 4year old son and my daughter and 3 dogs all camped July 4th weekend 2008 at Tall Pines! I have to say it was the best 4th of July I have ever had.

The campground has a lot to offer for everyone. The staff is wonderful and we were first time campground campers and felt right at home and they were very friendly. My husband and I have already planned a 10 day family vacation there it was so wonderful.

Thank you to all the staff make sure when you stay there you say “hi” to Eddy and Pat. They are great. My son really loved them. Have a great time I know you will!

We stayed on a poolside site here in early summer and had a great time! Our site was spacious and level. My boys really enjoyed the tie dye, fishing off the dock, the ice cream socials and all the other activities. The pool looked like it was recently painted and had nice new pool chairs. Both bathhouses were clean, and the new bathhouse located by the pool was absolutely gorgeous! We would definitely return! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.

This summer I, along with my husband, 2 children ages 6 and 8, and our big dog stayed at Tall Pines Campground in our travel trailer, over the July 4th week. Despite technical difficulties pertaining to our trailer, we arrived one night later. Gayle and Eddie were so accommodating and understanding and did not give our site up to someone else, but with held it for us. I have camped in many campgrounds, and Tall Pines is by far the absolutely best and most outstanding campground that we have stayed in. I only went there because their reviews were so positive and now, we will be going back again and again. The campsites are clean, spacious, and the view of the Unadilla River is gorgeous! Our children had non stop fun there, from catching crawfish,to fishing, swimming, and taking part in the provided activities; and may I add that we had fun there, too! The camp-store is fantastic and if what you need is not there, one may drive just a few minutes down the road to the local Super Market. Lastly, the other people– of all ages, who camp at Tall Pines are very friendly and respectful. Gayle and Eddie do an amazing job running and maintaining Tall Pines Campground. If you have not camped here, you should!

My family and I stayed at this campground in June, 2010. I must say it was very mediocre at best. It seems to cater to the locals in the area. There is absolutely nothing to do unless you want to travel an hour to Cooperstown or Howes Caverns. There are only two bathrooms for the entire campground. One is old and decrepit, and the other is brand new and very nice. The problem is that they are cleaned very infrequently. The Hilltop sites are in the middle of a field with no shade what so ever. The river sites aren’t bad, but I wouldn’t swim or tube in this river. It is very dark, muddy, and murky. It might be alright for canoeing. The swimming pool is very small, and had paint chipping off the sides. I can’t understand how this campground gets any good reviews. Needless to say, the next time I am in this area, I will find a campground further north.

My Friends and Family have camped here for the past two years. I absolutely love their Halloween weekend activities. I plan on making this campground a definite destination every Columbus Day weekend. I would recommend this campground to everyone. Gayle and Eddy are fantastic.
