Leisure Livin’ Camping Resort – Nichols, NY

Loading ...If you’re traveling along NYS Route 17 this is a good mid-point break. The campground is near the Susquehana River in Nichols, NY. You can see the Expressway from the campground, but the sound was minimal. The RV sites are in a fairly open field but they are HUGE. Shower and laundry facilities are effective and interior roads are rough.
The campground had recently suffered a flood before our visit, there was still some damage evident, but efforts were underway to repair problems.As a destination park, this could be a disappointment. If you’re looking for easy-on easy-off rest stop, I recommend it. There are historic towns and good eateries nearby in all directions, and the mountain setting is very relaxing.
