It wouldn't have been so terrible except they don't allow you to bring your own firewood-- even if you live locally!! Then they charge astronomical prices for their wood. Seemed like a scam to me. Not to mention their charges for day visitors is ludicrous. I understand NJ is an expensive place to run a business, but it's still a campground. It's supposed to be an affordable vacation. Brenda and George were nice people and I am glad to hear they are enjoying retirement. It's a very nice place. Clean. The pool was very nice The bathrooms were clean. We stayed at a tent site. It was very big and shady... a very nice site. It was mine and my son's first time camping and Triple Brook made it a very nice time. I would return to Triple Brook again this summer. We stayed at Triple Brook in June and then in October (2010). What is still needed is better pricing for visitors. $46 for a family of four to visit for the day with friends who camp in a cabin for $75 before any firewood is even purchased is too, too!
