The environment here is really warm and cozy, with lots of lush grass, mature shade trees, and a stream that runs right through the middle of the park.Tim & Janet, the owners, are wonderful. They’re warm, friendly, and fun… and would bend over backwards to help make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Southside RV Park is a “senior-friendly” campground… this park was very quiet the nights we stayed, even though it was full every night we stayed. Our space was shady and they put us right on the creek which was nice. The family running the park is very friendly-they are always working in the park and take time to visit with guests. They were even able to find us a fly-fishing guide service. There is a nice resturant only 2 blocks away..We stayed here in a motorhome.
We stayed at Southside RV Park in July to go to Bannack Days at Bannack State Park. It was great! We also made it to a Demolition Derby on Saturday night. The owners provided free Pizza’a, drinks, and deserts and the campers brought all the other goodies to eat, on Friday night.
We arrived at Southside RV Park on a Saturday and Sunday morning in the Rec Hall the owners had free coffee & doughnuts for the campers. Our rig was in need of repair and the owner had a call in right away and a local mechanic fixed it up that day! They even fixed us both up with hair cuts! This park is very quiet & senior friendly.

We have stayed at Southside RV Park 4 times in 2005 and 2006. There are new owners in 2006 but the quality is still there. The grounds here are very clean and well maintained, with a stream running through the park. Each site has gravel and grass and many of them are shaded. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean. The campground is quiet even though there is a train track behind the property. We have only heard the train once. We camped there in a 25 foot travel trailer with our lab and springer spaniel.
