Checkers Welcome is a nice campground either for overnight (right off I-90) or extended stay. The campground owners are very cordial… the campsites are roomy with electricity, water and sewer. Nearby is the nice little town of Welcome, MN. The town has a cafe, hardware store and taverns. The campground has limited supplies in there office/store. 2005 prices were $20 full hook-up. Easy in/out
