Agree completely on the golf - great course and it was just steps from our motorhome. BUT, this is w-a-y more than a home-cooked meal. We enjoyed a five-course dinner that I would describe as gourmet. And, each course was accompanied by tastings of several wines. The couple who own the Resort were our hosts - and we got very special, personal attention from them even though there were about 40 of us on this ride. After dinner they related some of the history of the resort and some of their personal experiences. They were very entertaining and you could see they both love doing this. It took over three hours, and we enjoyed every minute. The Percheron horses that draw the carriages are beautiful and it was fun to see bull elk in velvet and the babies! Time and money well-spent. Be sure to make your way to NE Michigan to take this ride.
