Do you like going to bed at 10 pm when you’re on vacation? Do you like old, outdated shower rooms and rocky beaches? If so, Mill Creek is the campground for you! I used to go here with family when I was younger and booked for 5 days after a 15 year hiatus. To be honest, I wish I could forget those fond childhood memories because it disappoints me that they were at this place. I love the area and it’s too bad that this place is a part of it. I was told by the owner that I should just go to bed at 10 after a petty complaint that my fire was still going and my radio was on (at a low, reasonable volume) after quiet hours. For a young adult like myself, this is not the place for me. When I pleaded my case to the owner, I was basically told to conform or leave. It angers me to know that my family gave them business for all those years after seeing what this place has developed into.

We stayed here on July 7th in a site along the road on the north end, along the water's edge with a view of the bridge. Pros- sites are not on the water (young kids). The shoreline is very pretty and rocky (not a beach), with a LARGE grassy area. Sun sets just to the left of the bridge, beautiful, and an older gent plays the bagpipes every night at sunset! Everyone brings their lawn chairs to the grass and enjoys the view. At the hotels near the bridge, the view includes docks, seawalls, Coastgaurd ships; but out here, though the bridge is smaller, nothing spoils the view. Bath/shower houses are nice. Staff, too. Playgrounds old but not bad. Cons- these sites are the smallest I've ever seen, my awning almost touched the camper next to us. The nice bath/showers are a loooong walk, we drove. That's it, we'd go again for the view.
