Loading ...We stayed at Fort Custer Recreation Area in August 2005. There had been a lot of rain that week and the campground was very muddy. This is a very wooded campground. The mosquitos were so bad we could not even sit by the fire (wearing strong bug spray!). The shower facilities were far away and the shortcut was too muddy to use. The bathroom/shower facilities were very dirty. Why don’t state parks provide soap? The beach/lake area was nice, bathroom there was nice.We definately would not go back to this campground.
