Rocky Gap is one of our favorite camping spots. Nice private, woodsy sites. The only fault we have is that their are limited electric sites for campers. We would definitely camp there more often if more electric sites were available.

We really like Rocky Gap and like others have said it is very picturesque. Nice big, level, woodsy sites for RV and tent. They had some sites closer together if you want. We loved the lake area with picnic facilities, playground, canoeing, swimming, hiking, and a nature exhibit. We are going back again this year for 3 nights instead of 2. We have been trailer camping for 5 seasons now and just started doing State Parks last year. tate parks seem to be more affordable and quieter than other priv or comm-held campgrounds as far as I can tell. Enjoy
