Loading ...We were a little disappointed when we arrived at Bar Harbor RV Park. The wi-fi did not work throughout the campground and apparently it hasn’t for a long time and the owners just don’t seem to care.
This campground must have been amazing 20 years ago, but time and lack of proper care has taken a toll on this facility. The bathhouses were not well maintained, the grass was thigh high and things were basically just falling apart… overgrown flower beds etc.
The people running this park were nice and helpful but when you had a problem with something they went into a defensive mode for some strange reason. It seems they take in the profits but are reluctant to invest back into the park.
Overall camping on the Bush river was beautiful and we had a great time but I just wish the park was better maintained.

We stopped and looked around the campground 7/09. Yes, I would say it was run down and the bathroom in the office building had quite a few ants running around. Sites were quite close. Right on the water, though, and if you had a boat it would be great.
