We saw just about every kind of camper… from tenters to large motorhomes. Also… there was absolutely no road noise… the campground is surrounded by residential neighborhoods.

Thanks for your review. Did you notice a lot of tenters in the park? I usually go to the Wells area in Maine but the proximity of this campground to the beach is what interests me. And what was road noise like? Other than standard campground noise, was there a lot of noise from traffic on nearby roads? Am planning to take my son and nephew camping in Maine next summer so I appreciate your review of this campground.
