Lake Pemaquid Camping – Damariscotta, ME

Loading ...We stayed at Lake Pemaquid in August 2009. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. They have really nice facilities and great playgrounds for the kids.
The campground has an excellent waterfront. They also have Wi Fi… but only at the Saw Mill Rec Hall. There is a large general store that carries groceries, gifts, ice, firewood, and LP Gas. Also a snack bar with a menu that includes Maine lobster and clams, sandwiches, pizza, ice cream, an outside deck and inside tables.
I do have two negative comments… First, the hot tubs always seemed to be occupied by kids and teenagers — even the tubs for adults only. Secondly, the weekend entertainment consisted of very loud music.
Despite the negatives, we would still go again.
