French Quarter RV Resort - New Orleans, LA

Loading ...Here’s a great RV park that’s literally 2 blocks from the French Quarter! It’s easy to find (you can see it from I-10) at exit 235A, and the access roads are wide and ez for big rigs. Inside the park the sites are all paved with bricks, and the clubhouse is beautiful, with a lush courtyard and pool. Each site will eventually have a screened wood gazebo, but as of 6/30/2006 they were still being installed - they just had their grand opening. Since it is so new we had our choice of sites, and found it to be surprisingly quiet considering it is right next to the interstate. “Tom”, the security guard made it easy to sleep, as we felt very safe inside the resort.
This is undoubtably the most convenient location in New Orleans for exploring the French Quarter. Rates are comparable to similar resorts we have stayed at in FL, and a bargain compared to the local hotels in such a touristy city. We could only stay one night this trip, but we will be back in October!
