Loading ...If you admire horses then you are going to absolutely LOVE the Kentucky Horse Park Campground located in Lexington. I just finished a two week horse show there with my eleven year old daughter, who is a show jumper, and it was delightful!
The campground has 260 sites with 50/30/20 amp electric and water. All the sites are 55′ paved back-ins with fire rings and picnic tables. There are two dump stations as you exit the property. They also have a grocery store, gift shop and two bathhouses.
They have planned recreational activities including square dancing in the recreation pavilion. Also, lighted tennis and basketball courts, and a junior olympic-size swimming pool.
The campground also has electric primitive and primitive sites for those wishing for a more rustic stay.
Plus, they finally put wireless Internet in this year! Very reasonably priced too!
