Indian Point RV Park – Eddyville. KY

Loading ...Indian Point RV Park is not a place I would recommend to visit. It is mainly full timers that do not seem too happy to have visitors. It is fairly noisy at night, even after midnight and is located just a couple of miles from the state prison. The cable hook-up did not work due to a problem on their end, and there was not anyone available to show us to our site or direct us to the facilities. The only time I found any staff was when I wanted to leave and they could take my money.

This is the best campgound ever, and you would know that if you actually gave it a chance and went there. Don\’t believe everything you hear! there is a speed limit and its very slow and its a very pretty place to go and there is no noise after 10:00 pm till 8:00 am, this is when it is quite time. I camp there and you should too!
I agree with the last comment….the seasonals are not friendly, it is very noisy, AND because they allow golf carts [with obviously NO speed limit] you can get run over!

I’m just being picky here, but let’s not confusing Fulltimers with Seasonals. Fulltimers live in their rigs and are generally quiet, friendly people. Seasonals generally have a home nearby and use the campground to Party, Relax, and have fun without the hassles of towing/driving. In some locations we have visited, the Seasonal people were loud, rude, and considered transient folks to be tresspassers. Other places, the seasonal folks have been very friendly and eager to share local knowledge with travellers. It’s always a crap shoot on a road trip.
