Loading ...TierraVerde is really just south of St. Petersburg and directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Actually I shouldn’t be recommending this park as we are locals and have a hard time getting sites here.
It is georgous with private type sites (foliage) some right on the water and others just off. Electricity and water only with dump stations and a nice little campground store. It is a Pinellas County Park… and very reasonably priced with limits on your length of stay. Big rigs should use caution as some pretty tough turns getting into and too the sites, but once you’re in, it is quiet and unique to the old Florida.
If I was rating it I would have to give it almost a five star rating (no sewers). Raccoons are plentiful so keep your food out of sight.
