We\'ve been back several times over the past season, and we just wanted to write that the addition of a couple of rows of tent sites along the east and south sides of the park are a wonderful addition for other kinds of campers, but they do tend to make you feel a little more crowded-in, especially if you have dogs that need walking. On one visit in June, the state police were at a tent site with their lights flashing late one night, and on another occasion just recently, an older dude (who certainly should have known better), staying as part of a trailer-caravan, just kept walking right across our site, even late at night, which was pretty creepy, since the sites are not that wide and privacy is at a premium. The construction associated with the new bridge, in addition to the rumored closing of two nearby campgrounds (we don\'t know any more than that), has slightly changed the character of the campground and while the staff is still as nice as can be and the beach is beautiful, we\'ve decided to take a pass on going there for the next year or so and try to find another equivalent campground on the beach.
