Our first time to Mountaindale Campground was in June of last year. We were very surprised. This is a beautiful campground… clean and well kept. This campground is situated on 45 private acres surrounded by mountains just 14 miles southwest of Colorado Springs, off of Highway 115.
Amenities include a large recreation room with a big screen TV, and cozy fireplaces, and two pavilions equipped with grills and lit at night. They also have an outdoor volleyball court, small children’s playground. Also, they have two bathhouses, a laundry room and totally free hi speed wireless internet throughout the entire campground.
There is quite a bit to keep you busy in the Colorado Springs area, and Mountaindale Campground makes a great midway point, or home base to see the area.
Of all the camping in the Colorado area, this park was far above the rest.
